Amanda Sartori Leksell är en Stockholms-baserad konstnär. Genom vävning och screentryck skapar hon textila verk där färg och mönster tillåts ta plats och forma egna världar. Inspirerad av naturen och folkloristiska sagor undersöker hon tillstånd som längtan, maktlöshet och transformation.

Hennes arbete är kollage av minnen, fragment av platser, upplevelser och berättelser som i möte med fantasin förskjuts och intensifieras till nya textila landskap växer fram. Hon skapar rumsliga textilier för såväl privata som offentliga rum, där verken får samspela med arkitektur och människor.

Amanda är utbildad på Handarbetets Vänner samt har en textil kandidat från Konstfack. Idag är hon representerad hos Way Gallery och Above Gallery.

Amanda Sartori Leksell is a Stockholm-based artist. Through weaving and screen printing, she creates textile works in which color and pattern are given space to unfold and form their own worlds. Inspired by nature and folkloric tales, she explores states of longing, powerlessness, and transformation.

Her work is a collage of memories—fragments of places, experiences, and stories that, in dialogue with imagination, are shifted and intensified into new textile landscapes. She creates spatial textiles for both private and public spaces, where the works interact with architecture and people.

Amanda studied at Handarbetets Vänner and holds a BFA in Textiles from Konstfack. Today, she is represented by Way Gallery and Above Gallery.
